THE ONE-MAN CROWD
For over twenty five years, Keith Scott has been Australia's leading impressionist and cartoon voice artist. Starting in 1972 at the Sydney office of animation giant Hanna-Barbera, Keith soon gained a top reputation for his versatile voice-over work in TV and radio commercials, where he put his range of vocal imitations to work.
As a voice imitator, Keith Scott has the widest range in his field, with over five hundred distinct takeoffs of everyone from old-time movie stars to singers to local and overseas politicians. When you add his scores of original characters and dialects, he truly can be called "the man of a thousand voices".
From 1975-85 Keith made many appearances on TV variety shows as a comic impressionist, including Hey, Hey, It's Saturday and The Midday Show. Today, his topical comedy shows at corporate functions are highly popular with a vast range of companies.
In 1984, Keith began working for the Yoram Gross Film Studio, eventually supplying virtually all the male characters for their animated TV series, Blinky Bill, Tabaluga, Flipper (three series each), Skippy and Old Tom. He can also be heard on some eighty radio stations, skewering the pomposity of media and political figures, in the satirical comedy How Green Was My Cactus, which has run for over 20 years. This is a character filled Melbourne Cup call from the show:

It was for his expert 'matching' of the great Hollywood cartoon voices that Keith became internationally sought. In 1990 he was appointed the official voice of Warner Bros. Looney Tunes characters for Australasia, and since then he has done, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and gang in countless animated commercials, live shows, and promotional activities for Warner Bros. Movie World theme park, Westfield, KFC, and other clients.
Then in 1992, Keith was hired by Universal Studios, Hollywood, to be the authorized voice of Bullwinkle Moose and other characters from the cult-classic Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon series. He performed these voices in several American animated TV commercials.
In 1997 the Walt Disney Company flew Keith to Hollywood to be the narrator of their hit comedy feature film George of the Jungle starring Brendan Fraser. The following year, Universal's Theme Parks division again flew Keith to Hollywood to do the voice of Popeye for their Orlando, Florida Park's attraction.
And in 1999, Keith supplied the voices of Bullwinkle and the Narrator for $90 million Universal feature picture, The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle. During the shoot, Keith worked for five months alongside major names like Robert DeNiro, Billy Crystal, Jason Alexander, Whoopi Goldberg and John Goodman.
Later that year, he was called to Toronto, as the voice of 'Diesel' for the kid's feature film Thomas and the Magic Railroad (a British-Canadian co-production).
The year 2000 saw Keith mark a quarter century as Australia's own 'walking identity crisis'
That same year his first book was successfully published: The Moose That Roared is a detailed history of Jay Ward animation studio's (the company which made the original Bullwinkle and George of the Jungle TV Cartoons).
2001 saw the launch of 'www.KeithScott.com', Keith's own Web Site, via which the far-flung can now hear, online, the multitude of crazy voices from the amazing throat of Keith Scott.
In 2003, Keith narrated the direct-to-video Disney sequel George of the Jungle 2, in which he appears alongside John Cleese.
And in 2004 he recently recorded the voices of Bugs Bunny and gang in two big projects: America's giant theme-park chain Six Flags, and for a British stage production.
