During 40 years in the communications industry, Mark has worn many hats. He's been a journalist, broadcaster, copywriter, creative director and TV/Video/Radio producer. And throughout most of that time he has been an in-demand voice for a wide variety of commercial and corporate clients.
Mark has spent his working life in the UK, Canada and New Zealand, before relocating to Sydney.
Among the more interesting chapters in his career was his involvement as co-creator of the Top Twenty Hit 'Shoop Shoop Diddy Wop' for 'one-hit wonder' Monte Video & The Cassettes.
More recently Mark was a founding partner in an online travel video company LookBeforeYouBook.com.
As a former advertising creative he brings a thorough understanding of commercial production requirements - from both sides of the microphone. His travels and working experience have produced a versatile, well-rounded voice with a neutral accent capable of handling a variety of reads - from prestige brands to corporate presentations, quirky character voices to enthusiastic retail. He happily takes direction and relishes the opportunity to work with producers to get the most out of a script.
